The special event of the Creative Film Exhibition of the Emperor Group Centre & the 9th Beijing International Film Festival will kick off at the Emperor Group Centre at 12:00pm on April 15.

The Creative Film Exhibition jointly organized by the Emperor Group Centre and the Beijing International Film Festival is of great significance and is the first attempt by the Beijing International Film Festival to establish a cross-border partnership within the business circle, aiming to create a way to enable movie fans to be in close contact with movies and close the distance between the film festival and the audience. 

As an annual grand event of the international film and television culture industry, the Beijing International Film Festival always adheres to the tenet of "sharing resources for a win-win future", advocates the core value of "Beauty in Variety, Harmony in Diversity", and strives to promote exchanges in the global international film and culture industry.

As the flagship project of the Emperor Group in Beijing, the Emperor Group Centre enjoys unique geographical advantages and a cross-linked transportation network, making it an important component of the Yong’anli CBD. In 2018, it won the honor as "6-Star Super A-level Building" awarded by the Beijing CBD Building Quality Certification and CBD Building Alliance Inaugural Conference. As for this creative film exhibition, the Emperor Group Centre is making full use of its own advantages. In addition to an office environment with international standards, it brings together high-end international retail brands, including personalized jewelry brands, exhibition halls, fitness centers, cinemas, etc. Furthermore, it also provides myriad delicacies from various regions and countries, such as western-style steak, and Chaozhou-Shantou seafood, thus providing movie fans with both visual and culinary enjoyment.

Different from the traditional film screening experience, the Creative Film Exhibition of the Emperor Group Centre pays more attention to the participation, experience, and feelings of movie fans, with an aim to improve the visual, tactile, and auditory experience of all movie fans and audience members. At the Emperor Group Centre, the majority of filmmakers and participants may experience the delightful atmosphere of the Creative Film Exhibition. This has become a "Visible, Applicable, and Memorable" banquet. This year marks the ninth year of the "Beijing Panorama" unit of the Beijing International Film Festival. In order to continue vibe of the "Light and Shadow Event", the organizing committee selected from nearly 500 cinematographic works, which are divided into 16 units and then shown throughout a period of 15 days in 30 commercial cinemas, art theaters and college cinemas in Beijing from April 6.

As one of the official cooperative cinemas of the 9th Beijing International Film Festival, during the film festival the Emperor Cinemas in the Emperor Group Centre Beijing will present the excellent, award winning, film works that are highly acclaimed from various international film festivals, in a bid to provide a more diversified light and shadow experience for people of all ages and different viewing styles, enabling them to share the charm of film art and live up to movie fans' expectations for this “light and shadow event”.

Moreover, the 15 finalists of the “Tiantan Awards” will also be showcased during the Creative Film Exhibition of the Emperor Group Centre. The event will invite film making crews of the final 15 to the Emperor Group Centre for open floor Q&A with movie fans, providing movie fans with an opportunity to interact with their idols. At the Creative Film Exhibition, some interactive installations will provide immersive movie scenes for movie fans to get into the “Time Machine” in order to give movie fans an impressive memory after the exhibition.
